Insika Lodge
A Victoria Falls base within easy reach of the falls, the Zambezi and the elephant sanctuary.

This sample retreat moves from sunrise yoga above Victoria Falls, to Hwange National Park’s elephant herds, to the predator-rich Savuti Channel in Botswana — three distinct landscapes in ten days, each reached by short charter flight. Every retreat we curate is built from scratch for the group booking it; this is one example of how the pieces fit together.

Arrive into Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and transfer to Insika Lodge for the first of two nights. Settle in over lunch, then in the afternoon a private guided tour of Victoria Falls — one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World — away from the day’s crowds. Welcome dinner overlooking the Zambezi.

Early morning Yoga on the Zambezi, practised aboard a boat drifting gently on the river as the sun rises. Later in the day, a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls for an aerial view of the falls and gorge below. Second night at Insika Lodge.

A final Victoria Falls morning opens with Yoga With Elephants, delivered in association with Victoria Falls Yoga — a gentle practice held near elephants at an ethical sanctuary. At midday, a charter flight with Mack Air to Hwange National Park (approx. 30 minutes). Transfer to Khulu Bush Lodge, the first of four nights, followed by an afternoon game drive as the light softens.

Three full days based at Khulu Bush Lodge in Hwange — Zimbabwe’s largest reserve and one of Africa’s great elephant strongholds. Days alternate morning and sunset game drives with yoga sessions overlooking the lodge’s waterhole, plus rest time between activities.

Morning charter flight back to Victoria Falls, connecting onward to Kasane Airport in Botswana, then a short charter flight to the Savuti airstrip. Transfer to Desert & Delta’s Savuti Camp, the first of three nights, with an evening game drive along the Savuti Channel.
Two full days at Savuti Camp — renowned for its predator sightings and the dry, dramatic Savuti Channel. Game drives morning and evening, with riverside yoga sessions and time to rest between them.

A final sunrise activity at Savuti before a short charter flight back to Kasane Airport for onward international connections.
