Destination Guide

Namibia

Overview

Space, Silence & Stars

Namibia strips everything back to space and silence. The dunes of Sossusvlei rise higher than almost anywhere on earth, and the night skies are among the darkest left anywhere on the planet.

It is our destination for slower, more contemplative retreats — desert stillness by day, and some of the clearest stargazing meditation sessions we offer, by night. Beyond Sossusvlei and its ghostly Deadvlei clay pan, Etosha National Park rings a vast salt pan with some of the most reliable game viewing in Southern Africa, the Skeleton Coast traces a remote, fog-bound Atlantic shoreline, and Fish River Canyon carves one of the largest canyons on earth.
