Yes, and it’s one of the most common questions we field, especially from first-time visitors. The destinations we operate in — Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa — are among the most established, well-run safari and travel destinations in the world, with experienced local guides on every activity.
Every transfer, activity and lodge stay is arranged and vetted by our team in advance, so a solo traveler is never navigating logistics alone, and most of our retreats run as small groups rather than truly solitary trips.
Our team has a combined 50-plus years of experience arranging safaris and retreats in this region. We handle the details so first-time and solo travelers alike can focus on the experience rather than the planning.

Every transfer is a private, pre-arranged vehicle with a named driver — no ride-hailing, no public transport guesswork. Lodges and camps are selected partly on the basis of secure, well-run properties with 24-hour staff, not just scenery.
We also stay reachable throughout the trip. If a flight changes or a guest has a question mid-retreat, there’s a direct line to our team, not a call centre — which matters most to solo travelers on their first trip to the continent.
The feedback we hear most consistently from solo female travelers isn’t about safety concerns during the trip — it’s relief at how quickly those concerns dissolved once they arrived and saw how the logistics were handled.
Several have told us the retreat format itself helped, since traveling within a small group rather than entirely alone meant built-in company for meals and activities, even for guests who booked solo.
We also stay in touch with solo travelers slightly more proactively than group bookings — a quick check-in message partway through the trip, just to confirm everything’s going smoothly.
